Defensive Pistol Skills

This course builds on the fundamentals of shooting and is tailored to the individual. Defensive Pistol benefits both novice and experienced shooters. Class incorporates many additional aspects of shooting with an emphasis on improved weapons handling, increased speed and improved accuracy.  The course develops individual skills essential for self defense. Training incorporates specific tasks such as the draw, reloads, multiple target engagements, target transitions, use of cover/concealment, and movement. In order to attend, students must previously attend one of the basic courses or have prior training/shooting experience. The class lasts at 6-8 hours and requires a minimum of 250 rounds* of ammunition, strong side holster and at least 1 magazine pouch.
