Red Dot Pistol
Slide mounted Red Dot Sights (RDS) provide a significant advantage over traditional iron sights, but a deliberate training transition needs to take place. RDP 1 is designed to do just that and is perfect for people new to red dots, as well as those that have been using them for a while. This is, however, not an appropriate class for beginners. You must have a good foundation of marksmanship fundamentals and safety! The course covers a range of topics including: proper installation/mounting, RDS maintenance, zeroing, proper presentation (finding the dot) and numerous drills to establish a solid foundation for RDS employment. I see dot failures ALL THE TIME from both new and more experienced shooters (mostly user error). With proper training, red dots are faster and more accurate than iron sights. This is an 8 hour class and costs $165. Class requires a minimum of 500 rounds of ammunition, quality holster designed specifically for your gun (Kydex preferred and NO NYLON, CROSS DRAW, ANKLE OR SMALL OF BACK HOLSTERS), 3 or more magazines and at least 1 magazine pouch. Bring lunch, water and a chair.
Cancelation policy: Full refund (minus 10% processing fee) if you cancel more than 30 days before the course. 50% refund if you cancel between 30 and 15 days of the course. No refunds issued within 2 weeks of the course.
